AS A MOROCCAN NATIVE ´
A Moroccan native, Nahla was born to mixed parents in the early 90`s in Tangier. Moroccan mom and an Egyptian dad. Growing up in Morocco, and also being very exposed to international culture, this has been a huge influence and inspiration in her work today . As a child growing up watching classical Egyptian movies and roaming the steep streets of Tangiers and Casablanca, she was always naturally drawn to art, light, design and fashion. After studying Architecture and Design in Paris and Spain, she then worked for residential and commercial interior design agencies in Marbella, Spain and a few projects in Marrakesh and Casablanca, Morocco.
After acquiring a valuable amount of professional experience, Nahla decided to challenge herself and jump into the world of art and creation by her own means launching her first artisanal furniture design brand starting with a collection inspired from North Africa. A collection where east meets west, consciously designing , encouraging local hand craftsmanship and embracing colors,shapes and ideologies.
